This painting was created during a trip to the island of Sicily in the city of Catania in 2024.

But it wasn't a real journey. It was an evacuation and seeking refuge in another country because of Russian aggression, because of the Russian-Ukrainian war, which is still ongoing.

I used professional watercolor cotton paper Magniani with a density of 300g/meter, as well as professional watercolor brushes from world-famous manufacturers.
I am very concerned about the environment, so I try to use plastic and new cardboards as little as possible.
