This sculptural assemblage is comprised of stones and broken glazed shards blending into a seamlessly beautiful artistic expression whose function is that of a meditative shrine.
It was influenced by a primitive shrine that I once unexpectedly encountered in the sands of the Algerian Sahara. The utter simplicity, and humble elements of its construction, create a timeless theatre for contemplation and meditation. This inventive artifice includes black obsidian glass and conglomerate stone which I personally collected. (This shrine can accommodate two candles.)
