She has taken a publicity still from a classic Hollywood western movie and placed the actress against the rocky sandstone outcrops of the Arches national park area of Utah . The woman has a shotgun in a showdown with some unknown enemy or threat. The mythology of the Wild West is based on the tough, self-reliant individual who survives as best they can in the lawless frontier. Women of the Wild West era often had a harder but freer life than their sisters on the more civilized east coast of USA.
