"Ships - A small adventure" is a palette knife oil impressionistic landscape painting made in June 2020. This is an original oil painting on a 35 x 45 cm linen canvas. Painted with high quality oil paints, a brush and a palette knife creating a textured canvas (an impasto).
It was a perfect sunny day and I was painting this picture on a plen air and liked them cause they stayed so close to each other that looked like two old "friends" staying in a port and having been sailing for a long time but still having a spirit of adventure! Let's imagine that these 2 ships are going on a long-long voyage...:)

Signature on front and hand signed on back.
Stretched on a wooden stretcher.
The edges of the canvas are painted with blue-ultramarine paints so it can be hanged with or without a frame as preferred.
