The drawing "Shelter" came to me when I drew a small spiral on a piece of paper. A black sphere nestled snugly inside the spiral. This drawing plays with time and placement — some things are invisible to the observer, yet they make themselves known. The shelter with its candle is a beacon. This cave is always open when you need to hide.
