Lying like a teardrop in the Indian Ocean, Sri Lanka is also called India's tear. I fled to this enchanting place in the midst of winter, the ultimate escape for body and mind. While travelling around the island I took several pictures which I've used to create a collection of mixed media paintings.

Recycled materials: reused wooden panels, acrylic paint leftovers, paper cutouts treated with acrylic resins and seamlessly incorporated into the composition.

Materials used:

Acrylic and oil on panel
