Shasta daisies with purple Cotinus (alternative - and apt - name is Smoketree) from the artist's garden in July. They are growing together in the garden in a sunny corner where the dark shades of the Cotinus make the white daisies 'pop' even more than usual. The challenge was painting them in a vase in the studio as the petals opened, the stalks drooped and the colours faded...
A simple box frame is included in the price.
