SHAPES OF WATER #3
Shapes of Water #3 is part of an ongoing exploration of water as a mutable, almost immaterial structure. In this work, the subject dissolves into a horizontal flow where the boundary between sea and sky becomes deliberately ambiguous.

The composition is built on soft stratifications, with layered bands that echo the natural rhythm of tides while remaining suspended in an abstract dimension.
The palette is restrained and essential, dominated by muted greys, silvery blues, and warm, sandy undertones.
These colors are not descriptive but atmospheric: they compress depth and flatten perspective, allowing light to spread evenly across the surface. The absence of sharp contrasts reinforces a sense of continuity, where motion is suggested rather than depicted.
