Original, one-of-a-kind, hand-painted, inspired by the aerial view of The Bahamas
The idea for Shallow Waters, Deep Reflections was born at the edge of the sea, where the water barely reaches your ankles, yet somehow feels endless.
It was early morning. The tide had just begun to retreat, leaving behind a stretch of glassy, shallow water. The ocean wasn’t roaring. It wasn’t dramatic. It simply breathed. The surface shimmered like liquid light, reflecting the sky so perfectly that it was hard to tell where water ended, and air began.
Standing there, the realization came quietly: you don’t have to dive deep to experience depth.
The shallow water revealed everything: the ripples in the sand, the tiny shells, the movement of light. Nothing was hidden. And yet, within that clarity was something profound. The reflection of the sky in the thin layer of water felt symbolic: even the shallowest places can hold vastness. Even stillness can carry infinity.
The water in the artwork is intentionally calm, allowing reflections to become the true subject. The horizon blurs, suggesting that what we see externally is often just a mirror of what exists within us. The light plays a central role, soft golds and cool blues blending to represent awareness, growth, and introspection.
“Shallow Waters” speaks to the visible, tangible parts of life, the moments we think are simple, and “Deep Reflections” speaks to what those moments awaken inside us.
Sometimes the most profound realizations don’t happen in the depths of chaos or darkness. They happen quietly, in still places, where we can see ourselves clearly.
And like the ocean, we may appear calm and shallow on the surface, but our reflections tell a much deeper story.

I don’t have a team behind me.
I paint, I wire, I brand, I pack. I take photos of the paintings, I post on social media, and I search for the best-quality painting, packing, and shipping supplies. I created my website, and I maintain it. I do the marketing. I do the art shows where I set up, pack, prep, load, and unload everything myself.

I am self-taught in every single step of this. I’m not complaining, just stating the facts. I never overcharge because I prioritize people having access to my art, which means my profit margins are usually small.

I don’t make art to decorate the walls of my own home. I make it to express and capture feelings and beautiful places, and I want people to be able to experience in their own space what my art communicates. I’m not pretentious, just detail-oriented.

So please know: behind every painting is just me. A simple woman with feelings who, no matter how simple or minimalist a painting may look, has poured her whole heart and everything else into it. Behind that serene ocean painting you are looking at is a bit of a hot mess who does everything with intention, love, and - yes - an extremely OCD brain (but that’s another story entirely).
