This was an experiment with using number stencils instead of letters, I like the number/ letter shapes just for themselves, so does it matter if it says anything or not?
I like the minimal nature of this painting, the white is the off white of raw canvas primed with clear gesso and how the black comes onto the white a bit and picks up on the texture of the wall I stapled the canvas to. Another detail that interests me is the disintegrating six, it feels like a shadow.
