Coloured pencil drawing of a Lioness

Lions are known for their long periods of rest, as adults have few natural predators, allowing them to conserve energy for hunting. During this resting phase older lions show an experience and inner peace that I wanted to capture in this drawing of an african lioness. She exudes a serenity that captivates the viewer.

This artwork has been drawn with the finest quality coloured pencils on heavy weight, acid free artist paper. Size of the drawing is 30x40cm.
