Abstract Impressionist meadow painting, 50x100cm, unframed and ready to hang.
Colours, moods, seasons and grass forms from the natural world uplift me, and recollecting walking in a soft spring world surrounded by grasses and flowers forms the inspiration for this painting.
I use beautiful quality acrylic paints, mostly Golden acrylic, and Lascaux, and a large variety of brushes and palette knives, to drip, wash, smudge and paint the surface of the canvas, to create a rich and varied painting.
Summer Reflections uses Golden acrylic paints, I have tried to inject as much colour, warmth and vibrancy as I can onto this canvas, which has many many layers of paint to give depth and texture to the painting.
This 50x100cm painting is unframed. It has white painted edges and is strung with picture cord ready to hang.
