This is an original abstract impressionism landscape painting created using acrylic on canvas. It is part of a recent series of works based on autumnal plain air and was inspired by the Pre-Appalachian landscape of rural Pennsylvania. The painting was started on location and completed in the studio, capturing the beauty of autumn in the mountains. The artist used master-quality materials and covered the edges of the painting with archival white linen tape for a clean and contemporary look. It does not require framing and is ready to hang, with the artist's signature on the front. A Certificate of Authenticity is also included.
