Artist Impressions:
The works of ancient Fayum artists have always attracted me! It has always been fascinating to peer into the lively faces of people who lived centuries ago. When I cut my hair and looked in the mirror, it seemed interesting to make a self-portrait in which the aesthetics and compositional techniques of encaustic masters could be guessed.
