Original artwork description:

My art is rooted in lived experience and the stories often left untold. I use a vivid palette, with blue as my signature tone, to portray children as symbols of hope, resilience, and possibility. Blue speaks to me as a dual language of struggle and strength; it embodies vulnerability yet radiates dignity. In my work, everyday moments such as carrying water become metaphors of endurance, care, and survival. These children, painted in blue, are not just individuals but universal figures that reflect the challenges faced by many while reminding us of the strength within community. By contrasting their forms with vibrant, textured backgrounds, I seek to highlight presence in the midst of hardship, visibility in spaces of invisibility. My intention is not only to create striking images but to open dialogue, to evoke reflection, and to encourage a deeper awareness of identity, memory, and social justice. This work is part of continuing 'Untold Stories series'.
