A large bold abstract done with acrylic and mixed media (fabric, paper, marker, pencil, graphite, acrylic crayon) on a gallery wrapped canvas. It was done in shades of bold red and yellow along with black and white. I name my pieces by what immediately jumps into my head when they are nearly finished.

I finished this piece in August of 2025. I rarely choose red as a dominant color in my work. After doing so many pieces in beachy colors of turquoise, blue, yellow, green and aqua, I wanted to do a 180 and use red. I named it because I was literally "seeing red" and trying to get more comfortable using it.

**Due to its size, it will be removed from the stretcher bars and shipped rolled in a tube to be re-stretched by the collector. This saves tremendously on shipping costs.

Materials used:

acrylic, gesso, charcoal, marker, graphite, pencil, paper
