This is one of the landscapes I painted in Sedniv. For several decades, Sedniv has housed an artists' center. Sedniv was once chosen as the center of Ukraine's plein-air art scene because of the beauty of this small town. Sedniv is located on the hills near the Snov River. I painted this landscape on one of Sedniv's old streets. An old well still remains here. Here, you can collect water from underground by lifting it in a bucket attached to a metal chain. It's a sunny winter day. The landscape was painted from life on canvas. The canvas is stretched on a wooden stretcher.
