Hilbre Island, is a small Island off the wirral peninsular,It is a bird sanctuary cut off by the tides. I was very fortunate to be able to stay there, completely on my own during the spring of 2016, whilst I was artist in residence for the wirral country park. In this scene you see, the wonderful colours of Sea Thrift and Gorse, and the coast of Wales out in the Distance.
