"Sea Foam and Wind" is an original acrylic painting on canvas by Antonino Puliafico, developed around sea, coast and the movement of water. Measuring 66 × 35 cm and dated 2024, the work balances immediate visual impact with close-range surface detail.
The surface is built through palette knife, creating a tactile dialogue between colour, depth and movement.
Sea Foam and Wind" captures the powerful and untamed essence of nature through bold, textured strokes and a vibrant color palette. The artist’s use of acrylic on MDF brings out the movement of the ocean waves and the energy of the wind sweeping across the landscape.
Viewed from a distance the composition resolves as a whole; at close range, the viewer encounters the individual marks, ridges and chromatic transitions that animate the surface.
