Original artwork description:
When in Carmel-by-the-Sea, I love to stroll along Scenic Road, lined with Monterey Cypress trees and following the coastline along Carmel Beach. Each of these cypress trees is original, their twisted trunks and brunches being sculpted by the winds. Their angled tops and asymmetry have always captivated and fascinated me. These trees have been a never-ending inspiration for my paintings of the area. This is one of the impressions of a beautiful sunny day in Carmel.
Materials:
Oil on oil-primed Claessens Belgian linen, mounted on the Centurion Artist panel. Painting surface is protected with a coat of Gamvar varnish.
This painting is listed unframed, and will require a frame to hang. It will fit in a standard (USA) 12"x16" frame.
Images showing the artwork framed in home interiors are for presentation of potential framing ideas only. Frame is NOT included.
