Original artwork description
This painting symbolizes so much about what I learned from spending time on the East Coast last summer. The hard working owner of this boat has a fleet of them. He is a well respected member of the community and provides many jobs and also donates to charity. As I painted this on his docks, I listened to the sound of gulls and salty conversations of dockworkers. Looking at this painting takes me right back there.
