Annotation to this new series:

I lived with my family for 6 years from 2009 - 2015 on our boat at sea. During this time we sailed 35,000 nm (approx. 55,000 km) from Europe to Australia. We had a decisive experience on our Pacific crossing: In the middle of the night we were able to observe a fishing fleet consisting of three ships on the radar, which dragged a 50 km!! long net with them. Ultimately, we had to start the engines to escape this gigantic net. Until today I‘m still appalled by the incredible size of the net.

Worth seeing: the documentation "Seaspiracy" to understand the effects of fishing on our oceans.

I'm a fulltime freelance artist since 2003, you can find my work in galleries (London, Madrid, Melbourne), exhibitions, art fairs and in collections all over the world.

Buyers outside of the European Union: Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer's responsibility.
