This modern impressionist work is painted in impasto technique with bold, explosive palette knife strokes that create those almost sculptural textures of vibrant, saturated, colorful oil paints that I love so much.

Santorini , one of the most beautiful islands in Greece ... traditional villages with whitewashed houses, churches' blue domes and superb, luxuriant pink bougainvillea flowers, all of these on the amazing background of the blue sea ... It is a recurrent theme for my paintings since I traveled there in 2010. I imagine there is always a table which waits for us to go back.

Traveling to Santorini is an unforgettable experience. From time to time I remember another special moment ... and then I have to take my palette knives and get to work.
