Original artwork description
A black and white monochrome modern contemporary Scottish seascape landscape abstract impressionist painting of Am Buachaille or the Old Man sea stack and sea cliffs off the windswept shore of Sandwood bay, in the far northwest of Sutherland in the Scottish highlands.
In this minimalist painting I wondered if I could portray the wild and remote atmosphere and stormy weather of this lonely and dramatic coastal place only in monochrome black and white, rather than using colour, as it rare to see painting that use only black and white, and reminds me of a Black and white photo.
Painted with a palette knife and fingers, using quality artists acrylics on a square format 22 3/4" x 22 3/4" (58 x 58cm) lightly textured canvas on board, framed in a white lime washed frame, with cord ready to hang.
All deliveries will require a signature on delivery.
