San Angelo Stone Building 2 (2016) Original Oil Painting by Michael Gillespie
35.56 x 27.94cm (unframed)
£372.91
Original artwork description
I had been seeing this strange looking building from a distance, and on this morning the sun made it enticing as a plein air subject. This one was developed from my smaller one done onsite, in a west Texas town.
As I stood and did the first painting, I saw that there was a more modern building with a few cars parked, and I felt any moment someone would come out and tell me I was on private property, but they didn't.
This town's background is sheep farming, so I figured the building had something to do with the processing of wool in its past.
Materials used:
Oil on hardboard
Details:
- Oil painting on Panel / Board / MDF
- One of a kind artwork
- Size: 35.56 x 27.94cm (unframed)
- Signed on the front
