The search for a Messiah who will deliver us from our worldly misery is never ending and so is the arrival of false prophets who are self-proclaimed messengers peddling salvation to the vulnerable. We are always looking outward to find someone who will lead us instead of looking inwards to introspect and find our own path. No matter how many times you are misled or cheated by the miracle makers and their stooges, we feel prone to place our faith in the hand of others rather than in ourselves. Self-doubt, guilt and mistrust is continuously consuming us and making us believe that we do not understand our own self, but then, how many of us are capable of introspection or have the time and energy to involve in such an exercise? Worldly worries of survival, the fulfilment of our daily needs remains priority. The more advanced the society the more complicated is the race for survival and in the process selling peace of mind, love, compassion, empowerment and spiritual wellbeing remains a profitable job opportunity. Still, the lost souls keep wandering the wastelands of civilized society.
