Sakura Kiss is inspired by those fleeting moments when cherry blossoms fill the sky and everything feels touched with magic. I painted it with vibrant pinks and soft violets layered against a bright, uplifting blue … the kind of sky that makes blossoms seem even more alive. The branches weave through a sea of petals, and I added splashes and textures to give that sense of movement, as if the flowers are gently drifting on a spring breeze. There’s a touch of iridescent gold on the branches, subtle but full of character, it catches the light as the day changes, bringing little glimmers of warmth into the painting. For me, this piece is about joy, renewal, and the softness of nature’s kiss in spring. I imagine it hanging in a space where it can lift the mood every day, a reminder of beauty and color that feels fresh and timeless. Sakura Kiss can also be hung in a Landscape orientation if preferred.
