As summer winds down on the French Riviera, people are taking their last of the warm sun, and the final spin on their boats. I painted this on a rainy day, which begged me to narrow my palette to just Beiges and Blues; the colors of the Sand and Sea… I love the quiet, and simplicity of this piece. The edges of the canvas are painted so it can be hung, unframed if preferred.
