This abstract painting explores the subtle dialogue between land, water, and sky through layered colour and texture. Soft, chalky whites dissolve into warm ochres and rust tones before settling into expansive turquoise and seafoam blues below, evoking a distant horizon seen through memory rather than place.
Built through expressive horizontal marks and weathered surfaces, the work balances calm and movement. Areas of translucency and gentle abrasion allow underlying layers to emerge, creating a sense of time, erosion, and quiet resilience. The palette feels both coastal and earthy, offering a soothing yet grounded presence.
