SYKSY is an abstract photographic project born in the wilderness of Finland and Lapland, where autumn transforms the landscape into a spectacle of vivid contrasts. From the chromatic explosion of the Finnish ruska to the silent magic of the northern lights, nature becomes pure emotion.
Abandoning traditional landscape realism, Syksy embraces a deeply subjective and geometric visual language — a metamorphosis of reality into a surreal, poetic mirror.

RUSKA (STUDIO 1) captures the ethereal energy of Lapland's autumn foliage through intentional motion and abstraction. Light and color dissolve into flowing brushstrokes, evoking a dreamlike, almost painterly impression of the forest. It’s not a depiction, but a visceral echo of ruska — as seen, felt, and remembered.
