Sculpture on handmade Lecce stone, designed and created by the artist Andrea Serra. The sculpture captures the essence of an overwhelming and instinctive passion, freezing its intensity in an instant of light and shadow, through soft and sinuous shapes that seem to come to life.
The processing of this work is entirely carried out by hand on this stone which is found only in very few areas of southern Italy, i.e. in the lower Salento in the province of Lecce. This particular stone of marine origin, rich in plant and animal fossils dating back several million years, makes it suitable for processing details.
The "Rush of Passion" sculpture, like every work by Andrea Serra, being hand-sculpted, is unique and signed in engraving by the artist.
