The work is made with oil pastels on A4 watercolor paper. I saw such a rural yard when I traveled across Western Ukraine. Such bright courtyards are typical for some villages in Western Ukraine. The plot of the work is quite simple. A rural woman carries a hen. Another hen peeps out of the chicken coop. The story between the heroines of this pastel can be thought out by the viewer.
