RURAL MAREMMA : CLOUD STUDY 11

A pale silence stretches across the horizon, where light, air, and distance seem to dissolve into one another.

In RURAL MAREMMA: CLOUD STUDY 11 , I trace a landscape that feels suspended between presence and reverie.
The composition unfolds in broad horizontal layers, where the field, the dark line of vegetation, and the expansive sky create a quiet visual rhythm.

I worked with deliberately desaturated, whitened tones to soften the scene and dissolve its contours, allowing the image to drift toward an oneiric register.
The blurred movement in the sky and across the land adds a sense of suspension, as if the landscape were seen through a veil of light, wind, and recollection.

This piece is part of my ongoing Rural Maremma series, where landscape becomes a space for pause, memory, and quiet emotion.
