"Rules Are Made to be Broken" emerged when I let go of control. After working on a composition that wasn’t coming together, I broke loose with nothing to lose and found something new. It feels different from my usual work, yet it carries the same layering of color, texture, and form that defines my practice. This piece is about freedom, trust, and the unexpected beauty that comes from letting the process lead the way.
Medium: Acrylic paint on stretched Italian cotton canvas.
Size: 100x80cm (39.4" x 31.5").
