The Old Saltworks is a ruined tower on the sea worn volcanic cliffs at Los Cancajos on the East of the Island of La palma in the Canaries, Spain. It is a very dramatic feature on the cliffs. I painted this on site in the early morning looking into the rising winter sun.

This watercolour uses permanebt non fade quality artist pigments on heavyweight rag paper.
I usally frame this size painting in a ready made 16 x 20 inch frame availale in several stores.
