This is a circular drawing on Arches hot press paper. I visited an exhibition on Anglo Saxon kingdoms at the British Library a few years ago, and came across some round drawings which I found particularly beautiful and have since wanted to create a series of round drawings myself. This particular Roundel is of the atmospheric Rye Harbour Nature Reserve.
