Original artwork description
"Roses - The power of pink" is a palette knife oil impressionistic flower painting made in July 2020. This is an original oil painting on a 35 x 45 cm linen canvas. Painted with high quality oil paints, a brush and a palette knife creating a textured canvas (an impasto).
This artwork was inspired by a beauty of blooming of pink roses during my summer life in a Russian country side. The rose bush bloomed so beautifully and the smell was so nice that it was impossible to ignore them! So one summer morning I went to a plen air and so this is how artwork was born :)
I hope it will add beautiful atmosphere to your house.
This painting can be a part of a diptych or triptych and hanged together with 2 other artworks: "Peony - A summer joy" and "Iris - A pleasure of light"
