Artwork description
The roses were drawn from life so I could capture the detail and delicacy of the flowers. I chose to make them into a screen print with a vintage feel that is still contemporary.
An original hand-pulled screen print. One colour is printed at a time by hand using a squeegee which pushes ink through the screen onto the paper. For each new colour the artist makes a separate drawing/stencil and different coloured layers are built up to create a design.
