My painting was inspired by the play of sunlight against this window. The beautiful colorful shadows formed by the drapes, in contrast to that strong streak of sunlight next to it. The painting features bold and expressive brushwork that brings the scene to life.
I have framed it in a simple modern black wooden frame. I like the simplicity of the frame because it doesn’t take the focus away from the painting.
