Rooster – Reduction Linocut Print – Limited Edition of 1/10

This is an original handmade linocut print of a rooster surrounded by flowers.
Available in a limited edition of 10.
It is printed with Caligo Safe Wash oil-based ink in 11 layers.

Print image size: 30 x 30 cm
Paper size: 35 x 35 cm
You can choose to receive the print with or without a frame.
The framed size is 40 x 40 cm, and it includes a white passe-partout.

My inspiration comes from the animals that make me happy, and the style is an Art Nouveau style, similar to that of William Morris and Alphonse Mucha.
My studio is located in a rural area, and I can hear the sheep, horses, and goats while I'm painting.
I love animals; they make me happy to have around, and I enjoy painting them. I spent over two months working on the design and printing.

This is a varied edition. Each print is hand-pulled and slightly different. I may have used the roller a bit differently or mixed a color slightly differently.
It is a reduced linocut, meaning that for each color layer, more lino is carved away. Once I complete a layer and start carving into the lino, there's no turning back, and mistakes can't be corrected or changes made, so a lot of care and planning is required. This image has 12 cutting and printing layers.

Shipping is free worldwide. It is carefully packed for safe transport.
I ensure your items arrive undamaged, so you can expect them to be well packaged.
The print will be shipped flat between two MDF wooden boards.

My studio is located in the Netherlands. After receiving your order, it takes about 1 to 3 days for me to pack and ship it.
If you would like the print framed, it may take an additional week before the painting is shipped.
I ship worldwide via regular mail with PostNL, including a tracking number.

Shipping usually takes 1 to 2 weeks for international delivery, but in rare cases, it may take up to a month, especially during the holiday season.
Delays in delivery can also occur due to long processing times at customs.
Please also note that additional customs duties may need to be paid in other countries.
