This was an interior in New York. It had a huge supporting beam in the center of the room. I wanted to express a feeling of space and soft light in the room, by using contrasting planes of color. This painting recently won an award for 2nd place representational painting, at the Visual Art Society of Denton (Texas), Members Show. The sides are painted black, it is wired for hanging, and ships in a box.
