Original artwork description
I have always been fascinated by these old wooden tanks. It is amazing that they last so long and don't seem to leak. A little research will instruct that they are made of western cedar or redwood. They weather to a rich grey or grey-brown color.
ROOFTOP WATER TANKS is painted on 4 mil. archival grade drafting mylar . This material is tough, waterproof, inert, flexible, dimensionally stable, and it does not have to be stretched, like canvas and watercolor paper. The painting is produced using India ink and acrylic paint. I only sell original work so there will only be one original. The painting is signed on the front and comes with a signed certificate of authenticity.
This painting will be shipped in a tube. The artwork is very easy to mount on any type of board: plywood, masonite, foamboard, etc. I include simple mounting instructions with each piece that I sell and also I include mounting tape, a hanging strip and a drywall hanging device. Everything that you need to mount your painting except the board.
