An original painting inspired by Gustav Klimt's famous "The Kiss," but executed in a completely new, contemporary style. The artwork depicts a tender scene: a man and a woman, their heads bowed together, their eyes closed. They seem to dissolve in a moment of deep intimacy and love. The man gently embraces the woman, and she cuddles close to him, conveying a feeling of warmth and trust.

The materials and technique lend this work a special charm. The painting is executed in acrylic paints using relief, lending volume and vibrancy to the image. Gold leaf and gold mosaic create a shimmering and luxurious effect.

The composition's highlight is the semi-precious stones skillfully incorporated into the painting: red coral, turquoise, tiger's eye, carnelian, cat's eye, jade, aquamarine, amethyst, agate, amber, mother-of-pearl, hematite, rose quartz, onyx, malachite, lazurite, ametrine, and jasper. Their vibrant colors and textures blend harmoniously with the gold elements.

About artist:

BAST creates artworks in a decorative style, likes to experiment with materials: mosaics, precious stones, glass, paints, texture, etc.

Irina became a laureate of the Recycling Art competition and presented her project at the large citywide festival ARTification.

The artist participated in 23 exhibitions in the USA, Canada, Russia, China and Europe.

In addition, Irina was awarded the diplomas "Best Works of 2016", "Best Works of 2019", a special diploma for creativity (International Association VATIKAM, France, Paris) and has a letter of thanks from the Luxembourg Art Prize.
