Original artwork description
Abstract expressionism that was done with acrylic and mixed media on a gallery profile canvas in shades of pale aqua, blue, and yellow green. It has layers of color and expressive mark making. It is sealed with a satin protective finish.
It is signed on the front with a second signature on the back along with the title and date created.
I name my pieces by what occurred while painting the piece. What moved me, what struggles had to be overcome, my mood, my train of thought, what the piece reminded me of... this piece was done after a trip to the beach. It reminded me of when the gentle waves moved the sand and small shells at the shores edge. The turquoise blue green water mixing with the sand and shells.
PLEASE NOTE: If this piece is shipped within the U.S. the piece will be shipped stretched and ready to hang. If it has to be shipped overseas, it will be removed from the stretcher bars and shipped rolled in a tube to be re-stretched by the collector, this greatly reduces the shipping costs.
