This sketch was created on the beach near the sandy cliffs. The majestic boulders conquered my heart. I wanted to paint them at different times of the day, in different lighting. Now I understand Monet, who painted haystacks at different times and seasons, because objects that have captivated you once do not let go until you fully enjoy them.
