Original artwork description
Rock the Kasbah is inspired by our travels in Morocco. It evokes the feelings of being surrounded by beautiful sounds, sights, smells and shapes of a Moroccan medina or kasbah. The dominant colours are reds, oranges and yellows, but with areas of blue as well. Rock the Kasbah by The Clash was a big hit in the UK in 1982 and was playing in my studio when I was completing this painting. The artwork is on canvas stretched over an internal wooden frame. It is ready to hang.
