This small Original One of a Kind 11x14 painting that was inspired by lyrics in a song called Breakdown, by Andrew Ripp. The lyrics that made this scene pop in my mind were, " Rock Bottom is a Firm Foundation!" It blew me away when I first heard it. Been there... doing that! We ALL are!!!! The title of this artwork is "Rock Bottom!" The song also says this is NOT a breakdown... but a Breakthrough! The song and this painting is about the daily struggle we all have on the battlegrounds we face constantly. The battle between good and evil. The struggle to overcome what would destroy you. This is just the tip of the iceberg of what we all face on the battleground of another day in a broken and corrupt world. This is a very heavy and dark artwork for someone to purchase and hang on their wall in a home. It is probably more appropriate for an addiction rehab center or a community center for mental health. I painted this one NOT so much to sell... but to just be out there for that One person who was meant to see it. You will know who you are when you feel a presence surge throughout your body or mind.
