Artwork description:

This is a hand-painted linocut. I drew the roadrunner in a desert background. It makes me smile. Maybe because I grew up watching Bugs Bunny and Roadrunner cartoons but maybe because he looks so perky in that hot desert scene.

I drew the image onto linoleum, carved it out, printed it onto printing paper, and colored it in with watercolor and gouache.
