Road Trip

This painting is inspired by one of our road trips to Tombstone, Arizona. It rained all day, but on our way back home, the rain had stopped and the sun was trying to peep out in the edge of the sky. It was close to sunset, and casting beautiful golden colors above the distant mountains and a layer of lovely fog was settling between the mountains. If I asked, my husband would stop for me to take some pictures, but I do feel bad to ask so often. So, in desperation, I started to take pictures through the window. I didn't want to miss this opportunity of such a moment. I am not a photographer, but I do love capturing nature's beauties. In result, I absolutely love the outcome of the photos. All the motions and bumps, causing that artistic texture and shapes. I fell in love with it.... Hope you'll enjoy!

Satin finish varnish applied to protect from dust and light.
