This painting features the majestic red mountains in the background, standing as ancient sentinels over the vast landscape. The desert stretches out in a vibrant burnt sienna, reflecting the scorching sun and the rich, iron-laden earth. It's a land of contrasts, and nowhere is that more evident than in the turquoise billabong that takes centre stage. This oasis, fringed with the unique and resilient grass trees, represents life and vibrancy amidst the arid expanse.
